The Dream. In the subconscious of a rebel

“The Dream. In the subconscious of a rebel” is a performance based on Taras Shevchenko’s poem “The Dream”, in which the time period is extended to the present and which explores the exceptional stability of the russian empire in its desire to destroy everything Ukrainian, regardless of its own internal political processes and preferences. The performance is interesting for its plastic scenography, pantomime, a wide range of music from folk songs to contemporary music, and a large number of elements illustrating Ukrainian history.
