Luhansk Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater invites you to the premiere of the play “HLR (Hope. Love. Resentment.)” based on Neda Nezhdana’s play “Suicide of Loneliness”, a blues comedy in 1 act.
The roof of a high-rise building is a mystical place where fateful decisions are made, and a common shelter for cat encounters. A betrayed woman is going to make suicide. A stranger suddenly appears at the obstacle. The joyless atmosphere of loneliness suddenly turns into a detective story, a farce, a fantasy, a melodrama…
A strange coincidence is a great scenario for an exciting show: “They met somewhere between heaven and earth. who is he? A crazy dreamer, a loser who strives to make it happen at least for himself, or an inveterate pragmatist? Is she a romantic person who wants to be saved, or just a means to an end? Their meeting becomes a kaleidoscope of unpredictable events. Do they have a chance for a happy ending to their life stories? What awaits the heroes – suicide or flight over the abyss?
